Outwood Grange Sixth Form College
This project was facilitated by Simon Bradley and
Rebecca Cherriman, Autumn 2005. The students participated in an intensive
one day crash course in the conversaction technique on the theme of
'diversity'. Many of the students had little or no experience in using
photoshop, but everyone engaged positively with the technique and produced
some fine work. All of the participants left wanting to do more. Some
students comments: ‘I have learnt
about diversity in all its forms and have more I.T skills’,
‘Ace people and new techniques’,
‘I really think we should have more days
like this to improve our skills’, ‘I’ve
learnt how to use Photoshop and create something new from it’,
‘I wanted a longer day!’, 'I
will remember how to use Photoshop and to express ideas in a colourful
way!’
